The Party

Yesterday was a missionary's Birthday.  We had her party at my house.  There was another  family here who had 4 children.  We were laughing and talking, you know being kids.  I really got close with a girl named Sara, Oberline got close with another girl named Hannah, and Logan got close with a little little girl named Rebecka. The 1 boy that was about 7 sat out with the grownups talking.   I would like to play with them once every 10 days.  It is not often that we get to play with other english speaking kids.  I think our family is going to be Good friends with the Easley's.  We ate cake, brownies, chips, and drank juice, and some other things.  At the end of the party the kids started a wild balloon  fight.  The little 7 year old boy was so funny, because he hit Hannah and his balloon slowly deflated in front of him.  It was quite a funny sight to see.

I thank God that we got to meet the Easley's on Debbie's Birthday.

See ya'll!

Early in the morning our 3 visitors Nic,Todd, and Justin left to go back to their families.  I had the most splendid time with them.  I feel like it has been a month since I have seen them.  Last night I told them all, "When I go back to America I am going to visit all of your houses....so I can see your WHOLE family."
When my family was having our morning devotions (without Nic, Justin or Todd) we got a call from the driver that our visitors arrived safely in Port.  I wanted to say YES but also wanted to say HHH (sigh).... I miss them too much already.
But I am looking forward to seeing more visitors coming soon!  I hear my grandma and my papa just got their passports!  WooHoo!

I thank God for letting Nic, Todd, and Justin come to Haiti.

Riding into the River

Yesterday, I rode misty to a river.  Of course, I cant steer her by myself, so my dad led her to the river I should say.  I have started a little daily thing to do, everyday my dad takes me to the river on Misty.
The last 2 times I went to the river, I asked if we could cross the 12 to 13 feet wide river.  Anyhow, we didn't cross.  Then, yesterday we crossed the river!  On the other side of the river, there was grass about a half a foot tall all around.  In Haiti that is really amazing because the grass is usually all the way down to the brim.  Then there was a field that was going to be plowed, but had no one there.  So we practiced riding there.  Oberline didn't want to do it so the rest of my family happily tried to ride.  My dad said when he got on " This horse is like sitting on a 2x4 the wrong way".  Somehow that is how I like Misty.
If any of you remember my blog "Little Filly" Logan named her Butterscotch.  Any ways I saw little Butterscotch but not very well through the trees.
After that we started heading back, I was actually riding misty in the little river.  My heart was pumping when we went in.  The funny part is when we were in the middle of that river Misty just happens to lay down.  Instantly I jumped off the horse in the water.  When everyone crossed the river we were all laughing.  There was 2 children swimming in a different part of the lake.  One of the children made a big jump in the river and spooked Misty.   So we stopped then started again.  I hopped back on her a little bit afterwards.
Yesterday I had a Exciting day.  I do Thank the Lord for My horse Misty.
