MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!

     MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!!
I  hope everyone had a good Christmas.   We are going to a missionaries house.  Every Christmas someone meets a new friend,  i'm sure you have made a friend.   Last time it was a little bit weird because we knew no one.  This time we have some friends going with us.  We also are taking a Haitian friend.   I bet all of you have some kind of tree........but not like ours.  IT'S MADE OUT OF PAPER.   Since we don't have cookie boxes we looked up a home made sugar cookies, and made home made frosting and made designs.   Christmas is about Jesus  getting born, that means it's not all about presents.  He died on the cross for our sins we should be grateful but some of us just keep on moving along with life.  God does not want to send us to eternal  evil but that is what we deserve.  REMEMBER: GOD LOVES US!!!!!!

At another church

Today,we went to a church.   It was made out of palm tree branches and wood.  On the way to the church, there was a nice breeze and beautiful trees.  I felt like I was in the country again.
Some of the teenagers in the church sang a song in English.  They were.....Joy to the World, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.  The church had so many children and very few mamas.  Since the parents did not go to church, the pastor brings them.  The Pastor asked my dad if he would give a message.  Of course he said yes.

Here's a little bit of what he said......."Last night next to our house,  there were a lot of people chanting and shouting.  I wanted to go out and see what was wrong, but then I remembered what the bible says......Stay still and the Lord will fight for you, so I did that".  My dad was trying to teach the children that the Lord will fight for them.

After church the pastor called my dad over and said, "There is voodoo here, here, and here.  We all agree that we like this church.  What do you think?

RUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

IF you want to know the whole story here it is.
IT all started out when i was going to open my my door to my room, but then my mom said "Wait!  Dan can she open the door?" He said "yes."  Then when  I turned the knob there was a desk and a laptop! My grandmas and grandpas got me and Logan the laptop for Christmas.  This is the biggest gift Logan and I ever got,  but I haven't been able to tell them thank you yet.  I was so exited.

Then I went to the internet and typed in horse pictures.   My mom said, "Do you here that?"  My brother said, " I hear it too."  We all heard it.  It sounded like a crackling noise and an animal  burrowing  underneath the floor. The floor was rising and moving and a little bit cracking.  We did not know what was happening!  Suddenly our  tile floor was rising up and looked like it was going to break!  I said "earthquake!?" My dad told us to I go out of the room because we did not know what was going to happen.  I asked him, "Should I  grab the computer?"   He said "no go out of the room".  After 10 minutes my dad told my mom to get Wilber (Haitian friend).  My brother  Logan went back in the room so my dad handed him the laptop and the equipment for the laptop.  My dad handed me my nook and I never once set it down.  Then Wilber finally came and said "it's the pipe from the toilet."   Dad said "why"?  He answered " I think it is gas in the pipe that rose up the tile." A fter that he said "don't be afraid" and he started jumping on it. We really don't know why the tile did that though.

Last night me and Logan slept in the living room because my  dad didn't know if a big hole would appear.  Today mom, Logan, and dad cracked the tile.  I'm the only one who has not cracked it....yet.  I guess that doesn't matter because people are coming to fix the tile.  That was a little bit scary.

Pupperdupperdoo

One morning I was going to bless my dad by washing his feet.  But my mom blessed me first by waking me up with a puppy in my bed.  It was the first time he was in my bed.  Then when I finally got up my dad said,  "I waited for you this morning like you asked "(he didn't know I was going to wash his feet.) I said mom blessed me by putting the puppy in my bed, and I didn't want to get up.  After that morning the pupper kept jumping in my bed.

Every morning I wake up only because the puppy jumps on me.  Here are some pictures of him.  Some times he's too bitey and the other times he's too licky.  As I'm writing this blog the pupper just jumped in my bed.  He's so funny when he's tired.   He goes "rrrrroiou" which is a yawn.  He also fell asleep with me this morning and he wouldn't get out of my bed, so I had to force him out.  His name is Carmel he has a hanky kind of collar, he also has many nick names.  Pupperduperperpdoo is one of the nick names.  For his chew toys he has two of my dads old socks, a rubber thing from the car, and a rope that's in a knot. But he grabs clothes from the line (my mom hates that) and sometimes mango leaves and beetles. He barks in the night but past 3:00 am he can't get up.  My dad has already wrote about people and the dog so I'm not going to write it again.  Carmel is a very fast runner, as I run with him he goes at a certain speed and bites my skirt as we are running.  He's learning how to sit and he already knows how to take food gently from our hands.  The next thing we need to teach him is stay.  He loves to play with bugs then he gets tired of playing with them so he eats the bugs.  He also knows how to play hide and go seek.  I love that God blessed me with this puppy.  He reminds me of my two dogs in America and my cat.

No Doubting

We just got got out of church.
Then are neighbor Wilber said he wants to show us the ocean and the Garden of Eden.
Once we got to the Garden of Eden there was a big gate that was locked so we could not enter.

Then we decided to go to the ocean, but first we had to go on a path that was surrounded by rice fields.
The first thing I saw was a big........RIVER, one part was calm but the other side lead to the ocean.  There was a rapid current but there was still mamas and toddlers running around and doing laundry. My brother said to me '' Do you want to go on Mesopotamia''?  He said that because the river splits and it looks like an island.  Mesopotamia means the land between the rivers.   The ocean had really big waves that when they hit the shore it splatterd and kept going.  My mom said this is a very dandgerous ocean that it would suck you out in less then a minute.  There is a verse in James that reminds me of this wild and raging ocean.  In James 1:6 here's the verse.......You must ask in faith without any doubting, for the one who doubts is like the surf of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. That verse is telling us not to doubt when we are asking God for wisdom.  We usually ask for wisdom when we have difficult times and and dont know what to do.  So when you ask God, ask in faith.  Don't doubt.

We also saw two bay horses as we were leaving.  Wilber said that's a horse for an American.  He knows I LOVE HORSES.
Right now I'm talking to whoever is reading this , if you want COME TO HAITI!!!!  IT'S A BLAST!!!!!†

Going to Cayes

We are in the middle of Cayes which is the closest big city next to us.  I'm hearing beep beep,rr rr rr,music and loud talking. There are thousands of people who are carrying things on their heads.  They are going to the market to sell. Many motorcycles are zipping by with babies and some times they have five people on them. Often we even see donkeys on the busy streets. Many men are pushing wheelbarrows with  suger cane in them. They don't have any stop lights so everythone is going in many diffrent directions. I don't know how my dad drives through this. We are also going to the market to buy some vegetables. The market is HUGE and it's outside on the street.  My dad does not like driving through the market. However I love going to the market with my mom. It looks like there are lots of little secret passages in the market.  I don't really like the meat part though.  Today, mom bought me zorange douce (which is sweet organges).  I love those!
Cayes is CRAZY, but fun because you never know what adventures are ahead of you. We just got out of the super market which is a little like American stores, but much smaller.

We are on our way home now. Every time we come home our little puppy comes running to greet us.  I love that.  Well, that was part of my day.†

What a day

A couple of days ago Tikiline and I were cooking a big meal.
We were making rice and beans, plantane, chicken, sauce, and cake. I made some juice that took two hours. It was made with fruit. What I don't get is I made juice and I didn't get any of it. As I was making the juice Tikiline kept saying '' No time to loose" or "No time to waste''. She was telling me to go back and forth back and forth to get what she needed. She was wispering to her self "I am so tired." I felt so bad for her that she was doing all the cooking and I only made juice. I was also tired but I knew I was not as tired as her. When the plantane was done she kept giving me one because she knew I was hungry. We were cooking for a class that my mom and dad were teaching. But when the food was done a white man showed up, he was going to pick us up in the morning but he could not. We were going to go to see a waterfall, but instead we went to the beach. It was just me and my brothet who went and two more familys. Quickly my mom threw a bag of chicken and plantane in to our bag. It was 6 or 7:30 before we got back with a cold shower. But what really bothered me was I did so little of work and went to a beach and Tikiline did so much and did not go. That's all for now readers see you next time in Tipistach.blogspot.com†

Fish in the pond

Hi, I wanted to tell you something, Readers.
We have fish.  I'll tell you the whole story.  Well, we moved to a different house.  It has a cistern with water in it.  We have some friends who are growing fish and giving out soup.  We thought we could grow fish too and give it away in our village.  Once we were ready for the fish, a friend who has a ranch showed up and he said he would give us fish. When my dad came home with the fish they were a little bit bigger then fruit flies. We have 400 of the little guys. A haitian woman who helps us cook and do laundry said to my dad they will take SOO long to grow.  But my dad said that God will speed it up. She is all for Jesus and her name is Tikiline.  My dad thinks she is like a big kid cause she likes to scare the fish. Before all this happend we used 5 gallon buckets to get all the water out.  Then we hopped in and scrubbed.  Before my dad poured the fish in, we jumped into the cistern again, but this time it had freezing cold water in it.  We didn't care though.  We enjoyed the swim!
Talk to you soon, Readers!:)†

NEVER KEEP SECRETS,NEVER LIE,IT WILL DO YOU NO GOOD!

Never keep secrets.

Secrets will always some how form trouble.
  They also cause destruction.
So remember this.....secrets=destruction. Think of it .have you ever kept secrets? And you get caught? How do you feel? Bad. I know one. When I was 6 or 7 my brother was having a sleepover. My mom let us have a little bit of candy. While the boys were playing video games I went to go get MORE candy. As I was coming back without my mom or dad knowing I heard my mom walking into the room.   I went under the table to hide.  My mom saw me but I hid the candy. She asked me what was behind my back.  I lied to her. Any way that was an example.
I challenge you to remember this....NEVER KEEP SECRETS,NEVER LIE, IT WILL DO YOU NO GOOD!

Who Am I?

Hello! This is the daughter or Dan.  He is the one who set up my blog, so this is my first one. It all started when I asked my dad if I could play on his iPad. I was looking for something to play and I saw Blogger. I wrote a post on my dad's blog, but he said if I want to blog I could have my own.  I said YES.  It took a few days because we are in Haiti, but now I have it. Ti pistach = little peanut.  Its Creole, and its what my dad calls me.
