Fighting For Others

Did any one of you know that 200 Nigerian girls were kidnapped because they dared to get an education?  Isn't that just nuts?  These girls have not been found yet, and are hidden in the forest.  The girls' parents searched for their daughters because their president wouldn't.   These girls were forced at gunpoint to get in a truck.  What kind of world is this?  Why is no one doing anything about it?  Did you know that the world is being lullabied asleep when Evil is happening?

There is a lot of evil in this world that we don't even know about....I don't even know about.  But if we KNOW what bad things are happening, why don't we do something about it?

We should fight for our rights and the rights of people in other countries.   

    God made the earth so He can destroy it as well.  But He loves us; oh how he loves us.

He right now is protecting you, defending you, standing with you, fighting with you, and loving you. God loves us so we should love others.  And we never have to be afraid to stand up.  This is the God of Angel Armies, and he is always right by your side ready to strike.

  

A Blessing From God To Me

Just now I got a blessing from God!  I told my mom that I wanted a watch last week and, today I got one!  

I will tell you how.  Oberline came with the backpack she brought to Port.  She said " Abby I got a watch for you", I said "no, that is yours, see the color on it".  Oberline said "Abby here is my watch" and brought it to me.  It really was another watch in the back pack!  My mom got the pack from another store that sells things that people have already used.  What a miricle from God!  It has a bad battery though, but my dad is working on it.    

   God always blesses me little by little each day!

He Has Risen!!

Happy Easter Everyone!!  HE HAS RISEN!!!!!  

Is Easter about egg hunts and the Easter bunny?  No!  It is about Jesus Rising From The Dead!  Some parents have brought the "Easter Bunny" in their houses, and ruined their children because they told them Easter is all about the Bunny!  I am not saying that we can't have a hunt or hide gifts, even my family does that.  Just remember to tell you children what the true meaning of Easter is.  

Some people think that Jesus's body was taken by his disciples during the night, when everyone was asleep.  Really, the Inportant People of the area payed the soldiers to tell everyone the disciples took the body of Jesus.  Is that true?  No.  He rose from the dead, JUST LIKE HE TOLD US!!  If we are to believe that nonsense we are really messed up.  But God forgives if if we sin and make mistakes.  Don't you just love that OUR God forgives the biggest of sins?  Just remember God loves, forgives, and even sent his Only son to die and take our sins for you.

Breath Taking Creation

Yesterday morning we got a  beautiful boy bird from a man named Edain.  We named the bird Rio and built him a bird cage in our moringa tree.  Then Edain and another man brought 2 more birds, then 2 more again, and 1 more again.  So we got many birds!

  After lunch I ran to Edain asking him if I could help him catch some birds, so we went together.  When I was with him a lot of the traps were broken.  He was mad because people stole the traps and the birds.  He kept on saying to me "I don't like that people are stealing Abby's birds.  God knows everything".  

The trap that they have to catch the birds is a dead stick with a string on it.  They pull the string far back then they balance it with a little stick.  Once they put food in the trap the birds will come and step in ,then the little stick triggers it all.  

  Today we got eleven birds!

      I am a little bit struggling because the birds are sad, and they want to be free.  But if we let them go, or just don't catch them, other people will eat them.  What do you think we should do?  

   These birds look like they have makeup on and have a little bit of iridescent wings. 

           

   God's creation is amazing and breath taking.  I am glad I even got to set an eye on these wonderful birds. 

Don't Got Time

     Everyone knows that there are good times and bad times.
For example,  we got 2 new baby kittens that have opened their eyes.
Also, Oberline and I are having a great time going down to the river and catching fish, shrimp, and this green thing that looks like a snake with our friends.

There was a 12-13 year old boy who became crazy.  His mother tied him up and left to go some where.  The boy found a way to cut the rope, and ran down to the nearest river.  He went to a deep part to swim, and he swam under the water.  He drank so much water that his body was fat and he died.             His mother went looking for him and found his body laying on the water.

       Our life is short here on this earth, and we don't have all the time in the world to accept Jesus.  Right now my dad is at a hospital with a lady who needs her arm checked out.  The workers at the hospital were mocking my dad, God, and they wanted a whole lot of money.  I can just picture him coming home sweaty, sad, frustrated, and discouraged.  To cheer him up when he gets back, I made him a lemon slush drink.  He loves those and it is a little thing I can do to bless him.

You know it is a good thing that God loves us because we sin every day.
