You Learn A lesson Every day

Yesterday I went to meet my cousin at a stable so I could get some equipment for Misty.
So we got a halter and a lead rope.  After that we saddled up Coconut and Janey.  I was trotting, loping, cantering, and walking Janey.  Then my cousin Shelly said we should go out side with the horses.  So my mom held the reigns well I was on, and Shelly was holding Coconuts reigns while her daughter Was riding Coconut. I asked my mom if I could have the reins she said sure.  Then as we were all going back happily, my horse went ahead of the other horse.  She wanted to get to the barn so she went behind the bushes.
Out of nowhere she got so exited she started to crow-hopping (which was like a little buck).  I was holding on as tight as I could.  My feet slipped out of the stirrups and I went plump on the ground!  I was in tears.  My knee hit the ground first, then I bent my leg the wrong way.  Because my horse got so exited, so did Coconut. She started to do the same thing.
My cousin was younger than me and she was also scared.  Her mom grabbed her off the horse.  My mom went to go get Janey.  After a while I stopped crying, however today I am really stiff.

Shelly:  It was not your fault the horse started to buck. It was mine.  I wanted to have the reins so bad.
I learned a good lesson.  Thank you for the wonderful time Shelly, and the equipment.   I still had an AMAZING TIME!!!!!!!!!
