Letting Go

A lot of Americans struggle with loosing, selling, or giving their things.
Well, me too.  Last year I picked out all the stuffed animals I was going to bring to Haiti to give.
Well, I could barely let them go.  I only managed to give 1 of them away.  ( I do not know how the words are like this now.)   Think.  Will you give up your daughter or son to the Lord?  Would you ever let your children go away to another continent and only see them once a year?  I will tell you that it is tough leaving all your loved ones.  I miss the rest of  my family a lot.  But thank the Lord people invented messages and face time!  That is how we talk with our family.  Did God form us to worship him and stay in our little homes?  NO!  We need to be out and about telling about God's word.  There is a saying I like to use: Yesterday is history tomorrow is a mystery. There is still work needed to be done around the world.

  1. Abby, these are such wise words and I relate to them all too well. It is very hard to have your loved ones so far away and to hardly ever see them. God does have a plan, though and I know it will be better than we could ever imagine. O am so blessed to have my little missionary granddaughter truly understanding God's will for her. You have a beautiful heart and I know you make him smile when you share it. I love you.
